Introducing Octo

What Octo is

Octo is one workspace for the full lifecycle of scaling agents: version control, epistemic evaluation, and redeployment.

The goal is simple: make agent variants easier to track, test, and redeploy as teams move from one working prototype to many production environments.

Why we are building it

Agents are stacks, not single model calls. A deployed agent includes prompts, tools, memory, permissions, policies, data context, and runtime behavior. When any layer changes, behavior can change too.

Octo is built for that reality. It treats agents as versioned systems that need evaluation before they are redeployed into new environments.

The core loop

Version: capture the agent stack and branch new variants from known checkpoints.

Evaluate: run epistemic checks and transfer tests to understand where behavior changed.

Redeploy: move agent variants across environments with evaluation records attached.

What comes next

We are starting with private beta users who are already adapting agents across workflows, customers, or runtime environments.
